Ongoing education, learning from life, and recovering from past abuse

The struggle in someoneā€™s mind while theyā€™re going through recovery is sometimes unexplainable. Honestly, before starting in an ACOA (Adult Children of Alcoholics & Dysfunctional Families) program I had never even thought of it as my ownĀ Recovery.

Thankfully, the more experienced members of the group explain the healing process as aĀ personal recovery. Itā€™s helpful when you can find words to explain what youā€™reĀ actually goingĀ through.

Writing has always beenĀ a blessingĀ in my personal healing process. Unfortunately, especially with the holidays coming up, Iā€™ve slipped back into a state of mental uncertainty. That feeling of insignificance, isolation, and daily darkness has found itā€™s way back into my mind.Ā

Today, the writing needs to start up again. When you know youā€™re a writer and you donā€™t do it, your mind has too much time to trip up again.Ā

Hereā€™s hoping compassion and empathy can play a big role in all of our lives, for ourselves and for others. We really never know what someone is going through unless we ask.

Live, Laugh, Love with everything youā€™ve got while you still can. šŸ’œāœØ Thank you all so much for stopping by here. I truly appreciate and value you all.
