The struggle in someoneās mind while theyāre going through recovery is sometimes unexplainable. Honestly, before starting in an ACOA (Adult Children of Alcoholics & Dysfunctional Families) program I had never even thought of it as my ownĀ Recovery.
Thankfully, the more experienced members of the group explain the healing process as aĀ personal recovery. Itās helpful when you can find words to explain what youāreĀ actually goingĀ through.
Writing has always beenĀ a blessingĀ in my personal healing process. Unfortunately, especially with the holidays coming up, Iāve slipped back into a state of mental uncertainty. That feeling of insignificance, isolation, and daily darkness has found itās way back into my mind.Ā
Today, the writing needs to start up again. When you know youāre a writer and you donāt do it, your mind has too much time to trip up again.Ā
Hereās hoping compassion and empathy can play a big role in all of our lives, for ourselves and for others. We really never know what someone is going through unless we ask.
Live, Laugh, Love with everything youāve got while you still can. šāØ Thank you all so much for stopping by here. I truly appreciate and value you all.
