Seeing this absolutely adorable pup prancing down the road just made my morning! This is definitely something to share. 🐾❤️
Sending us all wishes to Prance into the new year, 2022, just like this!
When I hear a true story that absolutely everyone needs to hear,….I know I have the calling to share it. I’ve learned the hard way over the years that holding on to true inspiration is selfish.
There is ALWAYS someone else out there that needs to hear these amazing and TRUE inspirational stories!
Meet Dr. Richard White, who defied all the odds that stacked up against him growing up. Dealing with an alcoholic mother, living on the streets, finding food in dumpsters,….a life where even glimpses of success were hard to see. He discovered the tuba in his school band and his life changed forever!
When you think you can’t, Richard reminds us that he actually learned how to read music from a cassette tape. There are always ways out there to follow and make your dreams happen!
His journey from the streets to the symphony is beyond inspirational! And now with his doctorate in Music, tuba specific, he’s hoping to open up a camp someday that allows for others dreams in music to come true. (Today Show Interview).

Sending out wishes that all of us remember how important it is to find our True Selves, our passionate selves,…and then to share it! It’s in this Village mentality that there are no losers.

Thanksgiving, a time to spend with our family and friends that we love and adore. So when a completely unexpected, unforeseen flu bug knocks you out, and leaves you alone with your emotions going all over the place!??
I’ve been through a lot of crummy holidays, but this last one hit deep; the being completely alone part, and the fever, the shaking, sleeping for two days,…So I cried a few times, sulked, and even pouted a bit.
Just like it was meant to be, I desperately started looking for movies, after finally starting to feel better. Without even planning it, or doing any research whatsoever, I ended up watching three movies that I know I never would have picked out, especially over a holiday week.
How can it be a coincidence that they were all so similar in the beautiful, life living and loving message that they put out there? Similar, heck, they were pretty much identical!
When you’re actually feeling the feels, crying with them, laughing, and then figuring out you’ve got perma-smile at the end of all of them, well, it was just meant to be I suppose.
This is definitely one I have to come back to later and really dig in for a deeper writing session. I’ll view this as my “starter” blog for all the emotions these movies brought bubbling up to the surface.
What an unexpected few days this was!
Definitely, Live, Laugh, Love with everything you’ve got while you still can! 💜✨ Thank you again so much for stopping by here. I truly appreciate and value you all.
During this Thanksgiving week, I’m not going to focus on the American version of the first Thanksgiving meal. No, I’ve actually become too educated on the real history of the relationships between the Europeans and the Native Americans to even want to talk about that right now.
Instead, I want to keep it more personal. I’m currently reading an amazing book by Brene Brown, The Gifts of Imperfection. One of her quotes in here is really sticking out to me, and I want to share.
When going through any kind of emotional healing process, dealing with the self-doubts, the negative all around us, I’m going to try hard to keep this quote in mind.
We all crave Belonging, it’s in our DNA, our nature, a basic need for all of us. Wouldn’t it be an amazing world if we all found peace in imperfection? I know I’ve worn myself out trying to pretend, in so many ways, to be more than I really am.
So this week of traditional Thanksgiving here in the US, I’m thankful that with a lot of help, I’m finally starting to grow, and honestly be comfortable in my own imperfection. To be surrounded by others who are genuine, sincere, forgiving, and authentic is all I can ever hope for.
Happy Thanksgiving week everyone!
