What makes you Sparkle to others around you? ✨

All that time in elementary school staring out the window daydreaming around whether or not you can really sit on a cloud?? Would you fall through?

Well, the Science teacher spoiled that one. 🤦‍♀️

How about how if you stare at it long enough and see your running elephant herd morph into a blurred version of what now looks like rocks falling off a cliff?

Oh, there’s lots to be said about daydreaming; the creative outlet, the freedom from reality, the temporary peace your mind can fall into,….

#Awakenings #recovery #healing #emotionalabuse

A messed up version of this can be found after a few glasses of wine too,…that “freeing of the mind.”

If we really knew some of our past “genius level” creative minds, and their true soul stories, and why addictions played such a part in some of their journeys?

Future research for me! It’s actually pretty sad how common it is for creativity gifted minds to end up caught in addition problems.

It seems like a kid daydreaming in class or an adult with a little extra wine can reach the same result, …..the feeling of escaping from reality, tapping in to unlimited creativity. (I know this one first hand, both versions).

Making the choice to look inside, to try to dig up that gift that God granted us so long ago. It’s there, we all have at least one!

And then like Picasso says about our life gift:

“…….the purpose of life is to give it away.”

Our Sparkle and what we do with it!!

Live, laugh, love with everything you’ve got while you still can!! Thank you so much for stopping by. I truly appreciate and value you all!! 💜✨

    • IntrovertAwakenings – High functioning 40 something introvert, and happy to say I'm finally figuring my true self out. All those years of trying to be high energy, extroverted, and always a happy person,....well, it can wear you out when you're just not wired that way. So today I'm thankful and blessed to start seeing life without the expectation blinders on. It’s ok to be who you were really meant to be, once you start to figure that part out. ❤️ Perspectives, the introvert mirror, the sparkle within,...let’s get this connected "all feeling" journey started. ✨

  2. Sandi Staton – Trinity, North Carolina – My body has slowed down, but my busy brain never stops thinking, creating, writing, taking pictures of clouds and trees, and everything in between. I battle anxiety and depression that doesn't get better with age. That's why I write, why I spend time alone, why I walk, why I take pictures, why I never stop.
