I’ve been involved in a lot of local groups over the past few months that are extremely socially educational, thought provoking, and an overall cry for strong and loving allies to tackle our current racial issues together. God sees us all as his children, so who are we to say or see otherwise?

So with all those thoughts, and then this writing stirring up my childhood memories,…..there’s one word that has been sticking out for me. The word that best describes why I am still here, and why I am being urged to “find my voice.” I call these God moments. So the word is,….

GRACE

According to the Oxford Dictionary reference the following applies:

ORIGIN Middle English: via Old French from Latin gratia, from gratus ‘pleasing, thankful’; related to grateful.

(in Christian belief) the free and unmerited favor of God, as manifested in the salvation of sinners and the bestowal of blessings.synonyms:favor · good will · generosity · kindness · benefaction · beneficence · indulgence

  • a divinely given talent or blessing.”the graces of the Holy Spirit”

To live in a world that turns to kindness before assumptions about others, to be in a frame of mind that allows for mistakes and growth in others and in self to happen,…..for all of this to be possible we do need to dig deep into Grace. What does it mean to us? Do we show it to others? If not, why not?

God knows I’ve made all kinds of mistakes, tripped up, and even brought others down with me at times. Today my prayer is for Grace to be at the forefront of our minds permanently. And if it can’t be, then my prayer is to find out why and then to find a personal way to make it happen.

Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

(1 Corinthians 1:3, KJV

Thanks so much for stopping by! Love and peace! 💜✨
