Iโm realizing that searching for and really reading into the positive stories that are all around us is so rewarding! Of course this means no more watching the local news. So Iโve sought out other media sources.
Roberto Lugo โ Wexler Gallery
I found this story about a Philadelphia street potter, Roberto Lugo. He was born and raised in a rough neighborhood, known for poverty, drugs, and crime. He found pottery at his local community college in his 20s.
The love for the art sent him through his Masterโs level degree from the Penn State School of Visual Arts.ย (CBS Sunday Morning, October 3, 2021, story produced by Sara Kugel. Editor: Chad Cardin).

He actually sits out on the sidewalks with his potterโs wheel, and gladly shows others what heโs doing, and lets them try also.ย Hearing about how real and honest he is about his work is so inspiring. Itโs amazing to hear about our very own neighbors out there following their passions and sharing it with others.ย
His art is featured inย galleriesย around the country.ย Lugoโs work is beautiful, and definitely worth checking out! So today Iโm thankful to find true stories like this one. People out there caring and making a positive difference.
Live, Laugh, Love with everything youโve got while you still can! ๐โจ Thank you so much for stopping by. I truly appreciate and value you all here.
