I’m catching up with a family member who has just returned from an absolutely amazing mission trip. As she’s explaining the overall prayer that they did while they were there, I’m a bit blow away.

Some of the examples within the town included very specific prayers for strangers that turned out to be exactly why they showed up that day. She told at least 3 stories, but for confidentiality reasons, I’ll just say they were right on point, without the person ever mentioning their concerns.

Growing up in a β€œbubble of prayer” I guess you can call it, I’ve forgotten how it feels to be in a room, in a group, when such strong prayers are being said on a regular basis.

I know we’ve all heard the Gladiator/Christian and Lions stories of the past. It’s absolutely unbelievable that there continues to be a modern day version of persecution for your religious beliefs; one that can end with you and your entire family being killed.
