A nurse’s act of showing God’s love during Covid times.

When two latex gloves are filled with hot water and used to enclose an isolated hospital patient’s hand! On this Thursday, I’m choosing to look for the positive, the helpers,….yes, the same “helpers” Mr. Roger’s mom told him to look for during bad times.

I’m sure my family isn’t the only one that has members all over the place with personal opinions during this past COVID year. I actually don’t even like to write about it because I’ve gotten so tired of hearing everyone’s opinion. So, I have family on both sides of the vaccination board. In the interest of just seeing the positive, I’m not even going to share my personal opinion. Just know that my amazing mom was a nurse, and now my daughter is off to nursing school, enough said.

Seeing that the hospital staff in Brazil created an artificial warm hand to hold a dying patient’s hand, so they didn’t feel alone, just gave me such a heart smile! Today I’m thankful that God is still out there, and still working through us to be there for others when they need it the most.
