Remember those Elementary School days, the struggles, joys, and social confusion?
Yes, I’m one of the survivors that had high hopes for all of us. Those awkward social moments that hopefully we would all outgrow.
Well, it didn’t happen in all cases, for today’s example, the obvious pulling someone aside,…whispering among girls automatically leaving others out.
Sadly, even as an almost 50-year-old woman, it’s still happening. When one member of the crew purposely whispers about upcoming plans,…unfortunately loud enough that you can still hear the upcoming plans that you’re not being invited to.
Life teaches us that a thick skin is required. An adult’s mind understands there really is a bigger picture here, but it’s still hard feeling left out.
