I’m definitely no expert on human behaviors, but I can say I honestly keep trying to educate myself.

The overall life goal is to find my own steady sense of inner peace, so that my mental health isn’t continuously shaken by others’ behaviors. (Goals to kick anxiety to the curb once and for all)

Here’s an example, I work at home and don’t have to go out much. But this can be a double-edged sword in the fact that we actually do need some interaction with others for a healthy life balance.

Yes, it took me almost fifty years, but this simple realization is finally rooted in me. I absolutely cannot live this life all on my own in a stubbornly independent way. (Some of this comes from the American Culture we’ve created, unfortunately)

So, on an outing yesterday to go see a lifelong best friend, I get cut off in traffic twice, and my imagination immediately took me to the wreck that almost didn’t happen. Oh, I hate anxiety so much!!!

Some of us complain daily about how rough we all have it here in our day to day,….my mind immediately says, Really?Thankfully, I’ve read so many biographies over the years of others like Corrie Ten Boom (Dutch family who saved many Jews during the Holocaust), Immaculee Ilibagiza (Rwandan genocide survivor), Anne Frank’s Diary (lost her life in the holocaust), Louis Zamperini (POW WWII),….and many others.

Long story short, it hit me yesterday like a ton of bricks! I wonder how differently we, Americans especially, would view our lives and how we care for others if we took a huge step back, read some of these amazing past life stories, and then really let it soak in.

Our life perspectives are so ridiculously important!! Today I’m saying an extra prayer that the mentality of learning from history, of taking the time to reflect and rethink our daily perspectives will soak in for at least a few more of us. Wow, what a difference education can make in our lives.

Live, Laugh, Love with everything you’ve got while you still can!! 💜✨ Thank you so much for stopping by. I truly appreciate and value you all here so much.
