Current events have always had such a great impact on my ongoing goal of staying educated throughout the years. Honestly, I’d need to thank some of my old history teachers in high school for this one. I remember “current events” discussions being such a positive weekly activity.
So staying with this positive mentality, I’m going to switch my Thursday posts to the positive current events: the book releases, influential movies, global stories that inspire, and the overall sharing of resources and stories of our peers out there making the difference.

After seeing Jimmy Chin’s personal story on CBS’s Sunday Morning show a couple of weeks ago, I’m excited to share his first book release full of his collection of mind blowing adventure photography.
Hardcover edition being released December 7, 2021.
It’s inspiring to hear his perspective and how his living out his values.
A couple of his quotes from the interview really caught my attention: “Don’t be afraid of failure,” and “Commit and then figure it out.”
Jimmy’s work as a National Geographic photographer, and Academy Award winning director of Free Solo reinforces the commitment and positive energy he’s putting out there.
