Healthy Living Check In’s to check out! 🪴✅

My ever growing, nonstop piling up, stack of sticky notes with all kinds of brainstorming scribbles just keeps growing. I know,….use your phone for notes, use this app,…

Well, I tried it, and decided my crazy little notes, all around my computer, actually works best for me. Of course I have to add tape to some of them to make sure they really stick, my version of being organized for now.

I have to tell you, the “Sunday Morning” show on CBS just continues to bring such inspirational and real stories to the surface. Just like a God sent, my sister in law shared a story about the creators behind the “Melissa and Doug” company that I completely missed (Thank you Ms. L). ❤️

I’ve always loved this companies products: the wooden puzzles, the magnetic calendar (which my kids loved), the wooden toys,….As a mom, I’ve always loved how simple and perfectly age matched their products are. In an interview here, it’s noted that Melissa has personally designed all 5000+ products in their line.

It’s heartwarming to hear how real and vulnerable they are in this interview. On my current healing journey, which is likely going to be the rest of my life, it’s so helpful to hear and see how mental health affects so many of us. (Their new project – Lifelines). https://www.lifelines.com/

It’s always refreshing to hear a true version of someone’s struggle; and to see that no matter how successful, wealthy, creative, or kind a person is we just never know what life stories lie beneath the surface.

It’s reassuring to hear and see others acknowledge and then pursue recovery and a healthy balance in their lives. We really are on this journey together, and the more we see that, and put it into the forefront of our minds, the better equipped we are to empathize and be able to show compassion no matter what emotional mask someone is wearing that day.

Live, Laugh, Love with everything you’ve got, while you still can! 💜✨ thank you for sharing this with me. I truly appreciate and value you all.
