Did you really have to yell?Ā šŸ˜³

Itā€™sĀ really not my job to educate othersĀ about learning how to work with those that are different from themselves.

But wow,Ā it is mind blowing how arrogant some people are to think they are right,Ā at all times, and there is no other way to communicate than to express in profound and loud ways.

These thoughts areĀ being directed to the ones who think the term ā€œconstructive criticismā€ also means being allowed to use any tone of voice andĀ actually shoutingĀ at another person, in front of a group of peers. And then not seeming to understand why the receiver might take this to heart, to show any embarrassment, or fear.

This scenario just happened to me recently within a new volunteer environment.Ā I am astonishedĀ that one can try to justify this type of communication as ā€œconstructiveā€, in any form.Ā

I liveĀ withĀ a completely different mindset. In my communications, and maybeĀ it isĀ because IĀ grew up with verbal abuse, I purposelyĀ make the effort to remain calm in all situations allowing grace for the given situation.

Iā€™mĀ not perfect in any sense of the word, so if I canā€™t remain calm, youā€™ll see me pause and return to the matter when Iā€™ve sorted through it.

I donā€™t care how you choose to describe your personality:Ā extrovert, introvert, leader, follower,ā€¦If you choose to steamroll and belittle those around you, please prepare yourself for the lose of respect from others.

And there it is, myĀ introvertedĀ vent for the day.

Live, Laugh, Love with everythingĀ youā€™veĀ got while you still can! šŸ’œāœØ Thank you so much for stopping by here. I truly appreciate and value you all.
