It’s that hot July day frame of mind,…and you can’t believe you found a writing outlet! ❤️

Two teenagers, two pets, one husband, and new Dollar store reading glasses,…what more could a girl ask for! Well, here’s the reality…so the “to do” list has the following for the day: check the car tires, need cat food/dog food/treats for both. Is my 9:30am appointment today or tomorrow? Sort those emails, having over 20,000 junkie ones is way out of control! Look up that self help group a friend mentioned. Since I’m paying for it….log the days weight watcher points, dang, keep forgetting. Oh, and one last thing, watch Hamilton! Sounds like I’m the only one left that hasn’t seen it yet.

And that’s just today’s list!

But then I get excited remembering I have a new writing outlet! I haven’t put pen to paper in like 30 years now just for fun. So many topics, so little time. No actually, I’ve got plenty of time. Working for a Cancer Specialty Hospital flips my daily perspective constantly. Thankful today for time,…time to write my lists and a little extra time after picking up the car from the shop, $400 later,…thankful I’m here and able to write tonight.

Since I’m still in start up mode I’ll share my core goals, my writing forum foundation if you will. Goal #1 – keeping it real; #2 – using or looking for the positivity in every day; #3 – kindness wins in the end, even when the hardest headed ones try to spread nastiness; #4 – finding the sparkle, we all have it somewhere, a gift/talent/a gem inside; and #5 – sharing my resources. I’m a crazy nerdy researcher and love to share good finds!

Introvert who is finally finding my much needed outlet, round 2! So now that folder marked “poems” from 1980 something won’t have to be the only proof I knew I liked to write.

Thanks for tuning in.

    • IntrovertAwakenings – High functioning 40 something introvert, and happy to say I'm finally figuring my true self out. All those years of trying to be high energy, extroverted, and always a happy person,....well, it can wear you out when you're just not wired that way. So today I'm thankful and blessed to start seeing life without the expectation blinders on. It’s ok to be who you were really meant to be, once you start to figure that part out. ❤️ Perspectives, the introvert mirror, the sparkle within,...let’s get this connected "all feeling" journey started. ✨

Thanks! It’s been 30+ years since I’ve written for fun. I’m bumbling my way through the tech part of this forum but definitely having fun with it too!

oh good!! I’m loving that I’m not alone in “being behind” with keeping up! It is on my list though,…especially since it’s on Disney Plus now. I can’t use the excuse of not being able to afford a ticket, or even my slowness in ordering tickets. Man, this one has sold out every time it’s come anywhere close by. Ok Ms Stacie, we should have a Hamilton party soon! Watch it together. 🙂
