Words like triggers, empath, narcissist, inner child, adult children, trauma survivors,…who knew it takes learning about them to actually start healing after years of emotional abuse?
It makes sense that I’ve avoided these words all these years. Truly facing your fears, seeing yourself be triggered, that’s when anxiety likes to kick in and take over.
Today I’m thankful that I’m still here, and have the opportunity to heal and move out of the survival mentality.
