From Mother to Daughter and Son, with all my Love!
Generational cycle breaking, years of body aching anxiety, and lots of stress eating of giant chocolate bars,…..goals are finally becoming reality!
This could turn into a gigantic write up! I think anytime a mom starts to talk about her kiddos all the bias love gushes out,….at least it should! Through the healing of my generation we’ve remolded our family path. From what I hear, others say my older teenagers have turned out to be loving and decent human beings. Thank you God!
I have so much personal trauma healing to do, and tried to hold off on even starting to rip off the bandages until they were grown. Well, my daughter is super inquisitive and that plan just didn’t suit her personality very well. She saw my strange and questionability unhealthy reactions to situations around me. My ways (coping mechanisms) of shutting down, and shutting out everything and everyone around me as needed, just didn’t work for her healthy developing self.
Well, it worked for most of my life! But God had a different plan when he gave us these two kids. These ones are very spiritual, they care openly for others without hesitation, and show unconditional love like I’ve never really known. It’s taken me years now to wrap my head around the fact that they love me, no matter what!
Unconditional Love!??? What is that???
For privacy reasons I won’t be showing their faces online, but in words here I need to thank them for teaching me that it’s ok to not be perfect, it’s ok to make mistakes,….and it’s ok to be just who God meant for us to be….even if it includes a pretty goofy sense of humor and absolutely NO POKER face, none! 😳
