We are a unique country, definitely one of a kind in size and world diversity. My own ancestry in the states dates back to the 1600s. The latest ancestor of mine, on both sides of my family, to come over from Europe was in the early 1700s.

I now know there are 5-6 revolutionary war veterans in my line. All Civil war veterans were Union soldiers. I don’t know much about their personal stories yet, heck, I’m still trying to figure my own out! 😳
All of my family research is on hold,…..Current events have become extremely personal and important! The more we know, the more we are responsible for,….I really do believe that. No matter what your personal religion is, please say a prayer for our country. Pray that love wins out over deep seeded racial hate. 🙏🏻
I honestly see the current social awakening as a huge opportunity for racism to finally be outlawed and pushed out legally. There’s no room for the silence and acceptance of hate in what’s supposed to be a civilized and educated nation, or anywhere in the world overall for that matter. 🙏🏻
